Breathe Pennsylvania is partnering with The Jewish Healthcare Foundation to present online classes through the Virtual Senior Academy. Here are some upcoming classes:

In this discussion, you will learn what radon is, the many places it can be found, and its relationship to lung cancer. You will also learn you can detect radon and make your home safe.
  • March 14: Tuberculosis — What is Tuberculosis and is it still around? Even though tuberculosis is very uncommon in our country, it is still considered a global health risk.  In this presentation, learn what tuberculosis is and what causes it.  Recognize how the infection is diagnosed and spread. We will also be discussing common symptoms and risk factors for developing tuberculosis.

Classes are offered at www.virtualsenioracademy.org and they are free for seniors ages 55 and older.
