This Training is for Early Learning Center Staff, Administrators, and Owners.
Prices below cover 1 participant, and you must obtain an 80% on the post-Survey to be awarded your credits.
There is an Attendee Limit of 20 for each date listed, and once this is reached, this Training is closed for that date.
$0.00 for Early Learning Center staff and owners within Breathe PA’s service area (enter Code INCTY when paying): Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland. (Includes (2) Act 48 and/or (2) hours credit on PAKeys).
$10.00 for Early Learning Center staff and owners outside the 10 counties listed above. (Includes (2) Act 48 and/or (2) hours credit on PAKeys).
This is nonrefundable, however, if you are unable to attend, your payment can be applied to the next training.

Summary: Breathe Pennsylvania’s Certified Asthma Educators provide two hours of online-live education and training that will define and differentiate asthma and allergy; describe allergy symptoms and treatment; and explain the impact on children.
Breakout sessions demonstrate how to assess and handle asthma and allergy in the classroom utilizing action plans.
Group discussion and role play will identify disparities and the need for classroom inclusion.
Participants will review environmental triggers and explore ways to reduce and or eliminate these triggers before school performance and behavior are impacted.
There is no prior asthma or allergy knowledge, or experience required.
After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the training.
