Success Story – Dr. Mark Mamros

I have been a part of the organization for 25 years as a volunteer staff physician for Camp Huff-n-Puff. Working with a staff of caring individuals and watching the campers grow up is very special for me.

Looking back on all the sacrifices one has to make to become a physician – leaving home, going to college, attending medical school, studying, taking call, residency training, board certification, and recertification – all of that was made more than worth it at the [annual camp celebration] dinner on Saturday night. There are many rewards to being a physician (and we are not speaking financially), but even if I could put aside all of the other special moments in my professional career, Camp Huff-n-Puff will always stand out as one of the best.
