Tracy Matanzo, BS, RRT

Tracy Matanzo joined the Breathe Pennsylvania staff as the Director of Asthma Education in March 2023. She is part of the school asthma initiative focusing on students with asthma offering asthma education and advocacy to empower kids to understand and take control of their asthma. Tracy has been involved in respiratory care for 12 years. She started as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in the medical ICU in 2011 after earning her respiratory degree from Eastern Gateway Community College. Tracy also worked at UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital where she worked as a senior registered respiratory therapist in the neonatal ICU for seven years. Tracy is an active member of the National Board for Respiratory Care. Tracy is married with two children and two dogs. She enjoys being outside with her family, traveling, reading, true crime, good food, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers!!
