At Breathe Pennsylvania, we’re all about breathing! Our goal is to empower you and your family members to breathe better and live healthier lives through lung health education and awareness. We offer pediatric and adult asthma education, COPD support and outreach, tuberculosis education, patient assistance, and smoking cessation programs throughout western Pennsylvania. All of our programs are independently monitored and measured to ensure they maximize lung health outcomes.

What Is Asthma?
Asthma is a chronic disease of the airways or breathing tubes caused by inflammation, swelling, constriction, and excess mucus production. As the airways narrow and become clogged, some symptoms of asthma may occur.
What Is COPD?
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, more commonly known as COPD, is comprised of two main conditions emphysema and chronic bronchitis. Many people who have COPD have both emphysema and chronic bronchitis.
