Zepbound is a prescription medication approved by the FDA for the treatment of moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in adults with obesity. Our speaker is Emma Oldham CNP. Emma received her nursing degree from Duquesne University and her graduate degree from Carlow University. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as an RN on the pulmonary floor. She is currently a nurse practitioner with UPMC's Sleep Medicine Group. She primarily practices out of Oakland at the Falk Clinic, but the division also has offices throughout Pittsburgh, including Mercy Hospital, West Mifflin Hospital, and Monroeville. Emma sees patients with obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia but lately has been focusing on how weight loss can improve sleep disorders.
